There was a huge thunderstorm on Friday and sometime while re-reading a book and typing something up, the power went out, and I was left in complete darkness. Luckily, the document I was typing automatically saves itself every time I make a change. We ended up powerless (in the over 100 degree heat!) until late Sunday night.
Although the past few days have been quite unpleasant, it gave us a chance to unplug from all our electronics and enjoy the littlest things. We played some scrabble, walked, shopped a little, and ate lots of grilled food and frozen yogurt.
